Scouting helps young people in various ways by giving them a voice and allowing them to contribute in adventurous activities. Each week Scouting gives almost half a million people aged 6-25 the skills they need for school, college, apprenticeships, university, businesses, the job interview, the important speech, the tricky challenge and the big dreams: the skills they need for life.

This includes, but is not limited to leadership, teamwork and resilience. These skills that have helped Scouts become everything from teachers and business owners to astronauts and Olympian champions.
