Air Rifle Shooting

Air rifle shooting is a great introduction to the sport of shooting. It’s the obvious next step for anyone who’s tried laser games or paintballing. It gives people a chance to learn the basics of safe gun handling, as well as the art of shooting straight.

All our equipment is brand new and can be set up at Helmton Hall, your hut or external event.

A permission form is required for everyone trying this activitiy, even adults and Leaders.

Archery

Archery’s all about using a bow to propel an arrow through the air. They’ll have to keep an eye on the target as you pull back the arrow then release.

Basic Bouldering

Bouldering’s all about climbing small rock formations without using ropes.

The short routes (or ‘problems’) aren’t high – climbers move horizontally from one end to another, rather than trying to reach the sky. You don’t need to know anything about knots to enjoy bouldering.

This is a small indoor wall, best for Beavers and Cubs.

KIT AVAILABLE

– Indoor bouldering wall
– Varying difficulty routes
– Crash mats

PERMITS REQUIRED

None, but requires adequate supervision from own Leaders.

Mini Bus Hire

Hiring a mini-bus for an event or activity may be an ideal solution to your groups needs. This can help groups to look within the District instead of hiring from an external company.
